Understanding RRL Validator
Our system uses advanced algorithms to ensure your Review of Related Literature (RRL) meets the highest academic standards.
The 3-Stage Validation Process
Stage 1: Segmentation
The engine scans your document to identify and isolate the RRL text and the References section. This ensures we only validate citations within the relevant academic context.
Stage 2: Rule Inference
We analyze your reference list to determine the specific citation style (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.) and internal formatting rules you've applied. If you provide a 'Style Reference' file, our engine will prioritize those rules.
Stage 3: Logical Validation
Every in-text citation is cross-referenced with your bibliography. We detect missing citations, 'ghost' references (listed but not used), and formatting inconsistencies with mathematical precision.
Key Features
Live Link Verification
We perform parallel HTTP requests to verify every DOI and URL in your document. We check for reachability and title metadata matching.
Visual Coordinate Mapping
For PDF documents, errors are mapped directly onto the page. Clicking an issue card instantly scrolls the document to the exact location.
Secure Persistence
Your validation reports are stored securely in Supabase. Authenticated users can access their full validation history at any time.
Multi-Format Support
Full support for PDF and DOCX files. DOCX files are converted to high-fidelity HTML previews for seamless review.
